Obviously this is The Color Out of Space by HP Lovecraft and its adaptation by Stephen King for Tales from the Dark Side. It is just as spooky as those stories but wants to cram some ideas about modern agriculture in there as well. It isn't a bad movie by any stretch but it doesn't engage quite as well as I would have liked. It's still a fun watch and if you like the original story then I think you can enjoy this one as well.
